Knitwear Care

For care instructions to keep your knitwear in pristine condition, please refer to the information below, which provides specific washing, drying, storage, and ironing tips for different yarns.

  • WOOL

    WASHING: Hand wash in cold water (30°C/86°F). Use mild detergent specifically for wool. Avoid wringing or twisting.

    DRYING: Lay flat to dry on a towel to maintain shape. Do not hang as it may stretch.

    STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry place. Use lavender sachets or cedar to keep moths away.

    IRONING/STEAMING: Steam if necessary, using a steamer held at a distance. Avoid direct ironing.

  • MERINO WOOL

    WASHING: Hand wash in cool water (30°C/86°F) or use a gentle machine wool cycle. Use wool-specific detergent.
    Do not bleach.

    DRYING: Lay flat to dry, reshaping the garment as needed. Do not tumble dry.

    STORAGE: Store flat or on a padded hanger.

    IRON/STEAMING: Steam gently to remove wrinkles. Iron on a very low heat setting if necessary.

  • MOHAIR

    WASHING: Hand wash in lukewarm water (30°C/86°F). Use a mild detergent designed for delicate fibers. Do not bleach.

    DRYING: Lay flat to dry, reshape carefully. Avoid direct sunlight or heat.

    STORAGE: Store in a breathable garment bag or drawer.
    IRON/STEAMING: Steam gently from a distance to smooth out wrinkles. Ironing not recommended.

  • COTTON

    WASHING: Hand wash in lukewarm water (30°C/86°F). Use mild detergent and avoid wringing or twisting to prevent stretching.

    DRYING: Lay the knitwear flat on a clean, dry towel to air dry. Avoid tumble trying.

    STORAGE: Store flat to maintain shape.

    IRON/STEAMING: Steam gently to remove wrinkles. Iron on a low/medium heat.
